The NSW Food Authority is conducting a recall of two Kimchi products from The Kimchi Company (600 g and 300 g), due to a potential microbial contamination caused by under-allocation of salt. Food products with the potential for microbial contamination may cause illness if consumed. These products were made in South Korea and have been available for sale at Harris Farms Markets in NSW.
The products being recalled include The Kimchi Company Kimchi 600 g glass jar, and the Kimchi Company Kimchi 300 g glass jar, both with expiration dates of 22 September 2020. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
